Terms of Service

Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account or using CertFlashCards, you agree to these terms and the incorporated policies. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in account secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Your account is personal and may not be sold, transferred, or shared to avoid plan limits. You remain responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security.

The service

CertFlashCards provides independent study materials, explanations, official vendor reference links, progress tracking, and related tools. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice when a material change adversely affects a paid service where practical.

Certification vendors do not sponsor or endorse CertFlashCards. Vendor names and marks identify the exams and source material they publish. Exam objectives and services change, so you should confirm current requirements with the vendor. We do not promise an exam result, certification, employment outcome, or uninterrupted availability.

Your permitted use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while these terms apply. CertFlashCards content, software, design, and compilation remain protected by intellectual-property law. You may make ordinary personal study notes, but you may not redistribute, publish, sell, scrape, bulk-download, reverse engineer, or create a competing dataset from the service except where law does not permit that restriction.

Your content and feedback

You retain rights in information you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, and display it to operate the service. If you voluntarily provide product feedback, we may use it without payment or confidentiality obligations, but we will not identify you publicly without permission.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are governed by the Subscription Terms and Refund Policy. A paid subscription starts only when you expressly authorize a purchase. Sandbox orders are tests and do not charge real money.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may limit or suspend access for a material breach, fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, nonpayment, or harm to the service or others. When reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions concerning ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. CertFlashCards is not professional, legal, financial, or employment advice.

To the extent permitted by law, CertFlashCards will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages or lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms prospectively. We will post the new date and provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. Applicable consumer protections remain available regardless of these terms. Before filing a formal claim, contact support@certflashcards.com so we can try to resolve it.
